Security Review

The Daemon Security Review Service is designed to identify and, where possible, rectify the common factors that can lead to poor application security, and that may pose a particular risk to the application in the longer term. This may include items relating to:

• Operating system
• Web server
• Application server
• Application code
• Database interactions

The Daemon Security Review Service may be carried out at any time during the development cycle, and is particularly useful before major changes are implemented. The Security Review Service includes both an audit phase that reviews the web server and application code to identify areas that could potentially limit an otherwise successful application, and a documentation phase during which suggested improvements are captured in writing for future action by the technical team.
