Selectv CMS
Selectv use a FarCry-based Content Management System to update their webpage. It allows contributors to quickly and easily change the content without knowing how to code. In this case, the CMS has a custom tab specifically tailored for Selectv to allow updates to be made to promotional images, highlights, programming packages and other features of the page.
The user can update the promotional image on the front page with only a few clicks.
The user can configure the “Highlights of the Month” pod on the front page through this interface. Any highlights set to the current month will be played through in a loop as a carousel.
FarCry comes with numerous reporting features; in this case a record is kept of all requests to print TV guides so that the site owner can keep track of usage.
