Bluescope Steel Supplier Locator

Bluescope Steel provide a supplier locator for all products, allowing customers to quickly locate and source the product they're after. The solution incorporates a proximity search based on post code and Google Maps integration.

Users nominate their local postcode and a product. Product selection is prefilled if linking from a product data sheet.

If there is more than one suburb in the selected post code area, the user is asked to refine their selection. The search looks for suppliers within a circular proximity of the nominated suburb.

Search results show supplier locations closest to the nominated suburb, with a priority on preferred distributors.

The location map provides Google Map integration, automatically plotting geo-coded addresses or using longitude and latitude coordinates for addresses not in Google's database.
